The best conceptual artist I have known so far in my life is Zoë Sheehan Saldaña. Go check out her website and figure why I said so.
The only word I can come up is "flawless!" both conceptually and visually. The way she approaches social issues is genius and effective.

when i was in school at fullerton, an artist did a project where he traded in french's mustard bottle for whichever one you had in your house. he went door to door.
these types of projects are pretty cool.
i especially like that she created/made/"manufactured" the traded work/item/tobacco!!? herself.
